Pascal Jungfer   Pascal Jungfer, CEO, Paris
Pascal has more than 20 years’ experience in business travel and consulting, with expertise in sourcing and global project management. In the 10 years before creating Areka, he set up and managed the consulting division of a world-leading travel management company, growing the team to more than 100 consultants worldwide. He also brings more than a decade’s experience in management consulting with companies including Accenture, Cap Gemini and Mars &Co. A graduate of the ESCP management school in France and the Franco British Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pascal has worked and lived in France, Singapore and Gabon and speaks French, English and Spanish.
Guillaume Bizet, Paris
Guillaume brings to Areka solid skills in global project management, negotiation and the airline industry. Prior to founding Areka, he worked for 10 years in the consulting division of a major travel management company, first as an air sourcing specialist and then as European director leading a team of 50 consultants for air and hotel sourcing, travel policy and compliance, ground transportation and meetings and events. He has also worked in Germany and the Czech Republic in B2B marketing for Nestlé and Danone. Guillaume is a graduate of the French ISG business school and Munich University of Applied Sciences (FHM) in Germany. He speaks French, English and German.

Aurelie Duprez   Aurelie Duprez, Paris
Aurelie is a specialist in cost reduction modeling and airline strategy. Prior to founding Areka, she worked for five years in the consulting division of a major travel management company, where she was in charge of projects for major global clients, negotiating air contracts on their behalf. She also has experience in the agri-food retail business in London. Aurelie is a graduate of the ESSEC business school in France, having ranked first in the national entrance exam, and the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. She speaks French, German, English and Spanish.
Mike Mannix, Sydney
Mike has had a 10-year career in consulting in the business travel category- first starting and leading the Hotels consulting business in Europe for a major TMC. In 2006, he moved back to Asia-Pacific to start and lead the consulting business, as well as the global Airline practice for the same TMC. He brings deep knowledge of the aviation and hotel markets and has worked with many of the world’s largest and most sophisticated corporations to design and lead strategies and sourcing projects across the globe. Mike has worked in over 40 countries and understands what it takes to successfully deploy global strategies in local markets, and what it means to integrate local needs into global strategies. Mike is completing his MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of NSW. He is fluent in English and French.

Quitterie has dual expertise in business and law as well as proven experiencein project management working with international clients.
Her experience includes: redefining expense payment and reimbursement systems, creating local and global expense policies, redefining Pcard strategy and supporting clients with online booking tool implementations.
She holds an Advanced Master’s Degree in International Management from Audencia Business School and Master’s Degree in Business Law from Université de Tours and from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. She speaks French and English.
Sabrina Bessard - Paris
Sabrina has more than 14 years’ experience in Office Administration. Prior to working for Areka Consulting, she was an expat for 3 years in Angola where she was responsible for the financial and accounting management.
Sabrina has experience in both SMEs and large Multinationals, which permits her to bring us skills in administration, accounting, and office management. She holds a trilingual advanced vocational diploma in Administration and speaks French, English and Portuguese.  Additionally she has completed training in purchasing during her career.

Francis de Broux, Brussels   Francis de Broux, Brussels
Francis has more than 25 years’ experience at a majoent company supporting various business travel functions through IT development and infrastructure, ranging fror travel managemm consolidation, supplier data management and program reporting to accounting/finance. He brings expertise in various IT tools, including Oracle (SQL), Cognos (BI) and Visual Basic, on platforms such as Windows and Unix. Francis speaks French and English and holds a commercial engineering degree from Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.

Guillaume brings to Areka his substantial expertise in data analytics. He also has strong skills in data consolidation, data and scenario modelling. Having worked in the industry for 2 years, his experience includes: leading airline sourcing and negotiation projects for multi-national clients, creation of travel policies, managing RFP processes and negotiations with travel management companies. Guillaume is a graduate of the Grenoble Ecole de Management business school in France, and the City University of Hong-Kong. He holds a Masters in management and a MSc in innovation.

Jean-Michel Comte, Paris   Jean-Michel Comte, Paris
Jean Michel has a passion for aeronautics and has more than 20 years’ experience in the corporate travel industry. He began his career with a varied approach holding positions in operations, regulation and commercial roles. He continued his career at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and BCD travel, where he was responsible for managing large accounts, driving change, implementing tools, negotiating air and hotel contracts in various sectors such as luxury, banking, manufacturing and pharmaceutical.
Most recently, he has occupied the post of a Travel Manager in one of the biggest French banks. This position enabled him gain experience on both the client and the supplier sides.
Sagnic Das, Toronto
Sagnic brings to Areka his expertise in analytics and Information Systems. He adds a new dimension to data analytics and data modelling with his strong IT background. Prior to joining Areka, he has worked with one of the global leaders in IT services. In Business Travel his expertise includes Sourcing for multinational corporations, Reporting and Business Intelligence and Data Modelling. He is also one of our innovators and keeps on creating tools for various analytical activities to meet the growing demands of the market. Sagnic has completed his Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from EPITA in Paris. He also holds an Engineering degree in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology in India.

Guillaume de Chantérac   Sophie Dubien, Paris
Sophie has an international background and experience in both procurement as well as project management. Prior to working for Areka Consulting, Sophie worked for Engie (a leading French energy company) as a global travel buyer.Sophie's experience includes Travel Management Company sourcing and implementation (from RFP design and management to analysis, negotiations and deployment) leading change management strategy and delivery, process re-engineering and global airline sourcing. Sophie speaks English, Spanish and French and is a graduate of the ESCAET Business School in France. She holds a MBA International Travel Management.
Dave Curtiss, Indianapolis
Dave has an extensive background in corporate travel as global travel leader for a Fortune 200 pharmaceutical company for 17 years and a global aerospace company for 11 years. Dave has created travel policies and lead global airline, hotel, travel agency, online booking tool, expense management systems and other travel sourcing initiatives. Dave also was responsible for selecting a global traveler security company and system to track travelers on business trips. He formed and led the global travel advisory group, an integrated team of key functions to oversee and manage the global travel program. Dave has a BS from Michigan State University and holds the Certified Travel Consultant designation.

Julien Gubiani   Julien Gubiani, Paris
Julien brings Areka his skills in the area of purchasing & business performance management, airline sourcing and the understanding of complex pricing and yield management models. Prior to joining Areka, he spent 3 years with a global management consulting company. During this time, he delivered assignments for world class airlines on pricing and yield management and for a major French retail bank on setting up a companywide performance management framework. He also worked as an analyst for the air consulting division of a major travel management company.
He holds a Master in Management from ESC Rouen (ranked 8th among French Business Schools) and is a seasoned speaker at his alma mater.
Veronique Howard - Houston (USA)
Veronique was most recently the Global Travel Manager for Schlumberger Technology Corporation. In addition to supplier management, her responsibilities included sourcing for all travel service providers including Airlines, Charters, Hotels, Car Rentals, Ground Transportation, Online Booking Tool, Payment Solutions and Travel Management Companies. Prior to joining Schlumberger, Veronique worked in Corporate Sales and Operations for several companies including Continental Airlines and BCD Travel. French American, for over 30 years, Veronique has dedicated her career to the travel industry in the US. With an impressive track record of creating and implementing global processes to dramatically reduce travel spend, as well as implementing and managing travel suppliers to reduce risks to the organization.

Tauseef Hussain   Tauseef Hussain, Paris
Tauseef has a passion for data and analytics and has a wide variety of experience working in Business Intelligence, Business/Data Analytics and Web Development- both as a consultant and an analyst.
Prior to completing his Master’s degree in France, he worked for one of the world’s largest and most successful IT consulting firms in India- where he initially retained responsibility for the development of a number of in-house Business Intelligence tools, design and implementation of data-visualisation techniques as well as database design. Within the same firm, he was promoted to Consultant and was responsible for leading design and delivery for large and complex data consolidation, data automation and data visualization projects.
Tauseef holds a Masters in Information Systems from EPITA in Paris as well as a Telecommunication Engineering degree from VTU in Bangalore.
Jean-Michel Kadaner, Trier
Subject Matter Expert (SME), in the Travel Supply Chain, managing large consulting project over the last 20 years, after a 22 years Corporate and Operational career in Purchasing in large American (ITT) and European (Alcatel-Alsthom) multinational companies. Several times expatriated, multi-lingual, backed up by a law degree, and various executive management courses, he specializes, in particular, with large TMC, Tools (OBT, Expenses, Reporting), and payment means tenders for large scale customers as well as Travel audits and Benchmarks. Regular speaker at Acte and GBTA conferences, global and local chapters. Belgian born, living in Germany, travels intensively.

Lorris brings to Areka his dual expertise in law and business, with strong skills in project management. His experience includes: managing RFP for travel management companies and online booking tools, managing global implementation and airlines sourcing for multinational corporations.
He holds a master’s degree in Management from ESCP Europe business school.
Papatya Pelt, Paris
Papatya brings to Areka her expertise in international corporate travel. She worked for CMA CGM (the third world shipowner) and developed experience improving the  travel and expense management strategy at a group level. She assisted the global project composed of a travel and expense audit, the creation of a group travel and expense policy with local addendum, the redefinition of validation workflows and the implementation of an online booking tool and an international travel management company.
Papatya speaks German, English and French and is a graduate of the ESCAET Business School in France. She holds a MBA International Corporate Travel Management.

Lucila Rodaro   Lucila Rodaro, Paris
Lucila has a truly international background and experience in both procurement as well as consulting.
Before joining Areka, she worked as a procurement consultant at ATOS Consulting in France. Her experience includes implementing cost reduction and risk management strategies, improving business technology and processes, implementing and deploying information systems procurement solutions as well as leading cultural change projects. Prior to working for ATOS Consulting, Lucila worked for Allianz as a buyer in core business activities such as insurance and asset management.
Lucila holds an Advanced Master’s Degree in Procurement Management from Grenoble Ecole de Management in France. She is a graduate from Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina from which she holds Master’s degree in International Trade and International Business Management.
Lucila is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Norma Rohrbach, Houston,
Norma has over 25 years’ experience in global travel procurement for several Fortune 500 companies in the financial, insurance, service and petroleum industries. She has strong expertise for vendor negotiations, contract management and vendor performance across all types of travel products. Through her global experience she is cognizant to local market nuances and how this integrates into a global strategy. She is highly effective in developing comprehensive solutions for cost savings. In addition, she is active with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) having served on several committees at both the local chapter and national level and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. She currently holds the Global Leadership Professional Designation (GLP) and Global Travel Professional (GTP) certification, along with the Chapter President’s Council Business Services Award. She majored in Theatre and Communications at Emerson College in Boston.

Sansoz Sozhan   Sansoz Sozhan, Paris
Sansoz brings to AREKA skills in Project Management.
His experience includes Airline Sourcing for Multinational Corporations.
Prior to joining AREKA he was involved in the strategy team of an industrial startup based in Paris and Silicon Valley, California. He has also worked in Singapore in Channel Marketing for Zebra Technologies Corporation. He holds a Master’s International Business Degree from Grenoble Ecole de Management and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Gaurav Sundaram, New Delhi
Mr. Sundaram is a recognized industry expert in the Indian and Asian Business Travel Markets. He is directly engaged with professional education, mentorship initiatives and industry forums to develop business travel in India and Asia.
Gaurav brings over 24 years of leadership experience in the global Business Travel, Travel Technology and Management Consulting domains. His span of experience includes significant success in managing complex businesses, establishing successful startups, strategic multinational client sales and management.
Previously, he was Country Director of Egencia India and he established Egencia as a technology leader and innovator in Indian business travel. His previous stints were as CEO of Rosenbluth International India and Country Manager Pegasus Solutions/Utell India.
In addition, Gaurav is the Regional Director India for GBTA.

Kate Watson, UK   Kate Watson, United Kingdom
Kate has over 15 years’ experience in the corporate travel industry, she brings an extraordinary understanding of the travel category having worked on both the supplier side and the buyer side. She has a wealth of experience in procurement, contract management, travel category strategy, change management, project management and negotiation across all travel sub categories. Prior to joining Areka Kate worked for Credit Suisse where she held both travel management and most recently travel commodity lead roles; prior to this Kate has spent time working for a global travel management company HRG, helping blue chip organisations to develop their travel programmes. Additionally she has experience working in the travel technology sector and hotel sectors.
Stéphanie Zetlaoui, Paris
Stéphanie has over 15 years’ experience in the travel industry- having worked for on both the supplier side (American Express Business Travel for 16 years) and on the buyer side.
Stéphanie brings deep expertise in multinational project management, travel category procurement and implementation and vendor negotiations. She has led project teams to deliver complex international sourcing projects across all of the travel sub-categories, and has a unique understanding of the travel category as both a buyer and a supplier. At American Express Business Travel, amongst other roles Stéphanie managed large TMC sales projects and oversaw their implementation if successful. Working for corporate clients, Stéphanie was the lead global buyer for the travel category and led their strategic sourcing projects across many of the sub-categories.
Stéphanie is fluent in French, English and Spanish and is a graduate of Novancia Business School in France- from which she holds a Master’s degree in Business Development Management.

Claudia Ziegler   Claudia Ziegler, Munich
Claudia started her career with a major Travel Management Company and held several roles in sales, key account management and business development in Germany. Due to her success Claudia was asked to manage an important IT-client as Head of Travel, Groups and Events.
Claudia decided in 2007 to become an independent consultant in Strategic Meetings & Events Management (MICE Management). Since 2007, Claudia's analyzing skills, strategic purchasing skills and complete service dedication created high cost reduction opportunities for some of the leading DAX companies and many other international clients. Over the last 15 years, Claudia has developed a strong relationship with many travel managers, events managers and suppliers for travel and event solutions. Claudia speaks German and English.
